  1. 1. Tickets

    Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia.

    Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.

    1 for $15.00; 100 tickets
    5 for $50.00; 500 tickets

  3. 3. Important Dates & Draw Information

    Deadline
    Final ticket sales deadline: August 27, 2022 at 10:00:00 a.m. PDT

    Draw
    Raffle draw: August 27, 2022 at 3:00:00 p.m. PDT

    Draw will be held at Bell Creek Arena 10710 Bell Road Chilliwack, BC

    The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG). 

    All members of the public are welcome to attend the draw.

    Winners will be posted online at https://bcchayouth.rafflenexus.com/winners on August 27, 2022.

  4. 4. Winner

    Winner will be contacted by phone by the BC Cutting Horse Association .

    Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

    If a winning ticket bears a minor's name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor's parent, legal guardian or trustee.

    No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the BC Cutting Horse Association or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

    BC Cutting Horse Association does not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.

Cause

The British Columbia Cutting Horse Association Susan Stewart Scholarship Fund was created over 30 years ago. Susan, daughter of lifetime BCCHA members Ken and June Hartley, was lost in a car accident when she was only 24 years old. Ken and June chose to remember Susan by providing opportunities to youth. They teamed up with fellow BCCHA member and cutting horse trainer Bob Zirnhelt and his wife Mary Lynn to create the Susan Stewart Scholarship Fund. The intent is to support youth in furthering their education or their equine aspirations by providing scholarships to pay for post-secondary education or clinics. Applications are received on an annual basis and awarded every January.
